How to compress a PDF file

  1. Choose the PDF you want to make smaller.
  2. Select extreme, recommended or less compression to balance file size and image quality.
  3. Click Process Compress PDF, review the size change and download the result.

Compression flattens PDF pages into images and can reduce image quality. Text may no longer be selectable, and some PDFs may not become smaller. Keep your original file.
